While there is of course the professional you would hire to make sure you have beautifully posed photographs to remember your amazing day with, what about the more candid moments. The moments that you will most likely cherish more so than your properly taken photos, 10 years later. Many couples find creative ways in which to capture these moments. One way is to rent a photo booth, and have silly props around the photo booth. Cost doesn’t have to be in the monetary value. It could come from the time spent developing the film, or running around collecting photos your guests had taken. If you don’t have a plan for photos taken by guests, yet you want to collect and share the photos afterwards, you may find that collecting them from your family and friends are not as straight forward as you think. A task you think may take a weekend, may end up taking up a few months. The cost of your free-time is really something that you cannot place a monetary value to.

A more recent trend in wedding photographs is the use of the smart phone. With so many people taking photos with their smart phones, a new type of wedding app have popped up in the mobile app marketplace. These apps allow photos that are taken by wedding guests to be collected and shared in real time. Each guest usually downloads the app onto their phone, and the photos they take are then automatically uploaded to a central website for the wedding couple to use at a later point. This cuts down on the work required to collect these photos, and also gives the bride and groom the power to share these photos in an easy manner.
